Why's the sign out front say 2007 wines ?

I was asked a question by my brother about why the sign outside the tasting room says 2007 wines are here. It was a very good question and one that Gary and I just took for granted, as he has been asked the same thing by several people. No we are not stuck in a time warp, but we are referring to the vintage year of the wine, not the current year. You see the wines vintage year is determined by the year in which the grapes are harvested. So the wines we are just starting to replenish in the tasting room are the 2007 vintage. I hope this clears things up for our customers. Keep asking those questions.

New Photo Gallery of Tasting Room

This past weekend I had the opportunity to travel from Boston to Tunkhannock so that I could get the full customer experience at the Nimble Hill Tasting Room. The store was bustling and the wine tasting counters were full the whole afternoon.

You can share my visit to the Tasting Room by checking out the new photo gallery.

The wines were absolutely delicious. My favorites include the sweeter wines such as the Vidal Blanc / Riesling, Niagara, and Harvest Moon.

OPENING DAY

WOW, what a day we had yesterday. It was our opening at our Tunkhannock Tasting Room. Customers started to arrive at 11:30 am and we locked the doors at 9:00 pm. I would like to thank all the people who waited so patiently for this day. The Toczko Family would also like to give a very special thank you to our crew. None of this could have happened with out them. Also, Steven thank you for this great website. I continue to get many compliments. Once again thank you to all of our new customers, friends and family.

Hope to see all of you again.
